To become a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), you’ll need to pass three DVSA examinations. Part 1 is a theory and hazard perception test, Part 2 assesses your driving ability to an advanced standard, and Part 3 evaluates your ability to teach and coach learner drivers effectively.
